All managers/coaches are to make sure there is gas in the tractors. Conditioner for Mid-MD Turf & Dirt is willing to provide 15 ton of field conditioner and will hold the invoice until the end of July – first of August. Question was asked of what to do with the remaining five ton. Concern as to how the league will pay for the conditioner if the town does not provide reimbursement from the MID-MD field? Suggested using a rototiller first to see if the field can be softened up. If that works, then the conditioner will be purchased next season. Danny will call and cancel the delivery. C. Fundraising – Sheila Rosas Pizza fundraiser went well. Profit of approximately $6900. Sheila provided a breakdown of the # of kits sold per division. Suggested for next year to make mandatory that board members and a representative from each team be required to assist with the distribution of the fundraisers. Pictures have been received. The league received a $671.82 rebate from Pictures-R-Us. There is a fundraiser being held at Texas Road House in Westminster next Thursday. Fliers are available. When ordering, give the flier to the wait staff and 10% of the order will go to the league. Apparel orders for next year will be pre-order only. One order will be placed at the beginning of the season. D. Equipment – Jeff Engel Some teams have not paid for having the names of their players put on the back of the shirts. The cost is $3.00/player. Jeff will remind the managers. E. Snack Shack Each manager is to collect $1.00 per player to put towards the cost of the snack shack. All division coordinators are to remind their parents to wear gloves while handling the food in the snack shack. F. Shetland Division – Jim Brown Games will start May 12th. No problems have occurred. Jim Brown has distributed the rules to each team to avoid conflicts. G. Pinto Division – Larry Haines for Chris Smith Season is going well. There is an issue of the kids pitching.
