| 1) Running lineup
with free substitution. (Pitcher cannot re-enter as pitcher Ref: Pony
rulebook 10L pg.20.) 2) 10 batter rule. (With less than 2 outs play will end when catcher is in possession of the ball at home base. All runners scoring until that time are counted as runs scored. ) 3) Base running/Stealing Ref. Pony rulebook 9N#3 pg.18. 4) Every player must play 6 consecutive outs. Even if game is minimum game length. Ref: Pony rulebook 11D pg. 21 for length of games. 5) If a pitcher hits 2 batters in an inning or 3 batters per game, he/she must be removed. 6) An 8 year old may play up if skill level permits safe play. 7) No metal cleats. 8) All teams must submit rosters with date of birth, and contact phone of manager to director by March 15. 9) In the event that a team does not have enough players for a game, an 8 year old may be brought up for that game providing that player is on a Pinto roster, his/her skill level permits safe play, and that a proper uniform is worn. 10) PLAYING RULES are the “Official Rules of Major League Baseball” with the exceptions and variations contained in the “Pony Baseball” rules and regulations book and by Mason Dixon League rule modifications. |
