2007 Rules

| 1) Running lineup with
free substitution. (Pitcher cannot re-enter as pitcher. Ref: Pony rulebook
10L) 2) 10 batter rule in the first 3 innings. (With less than 2 outs play will end when catcher is in possession of the ball at home base. All runners scoring until that time are counted as runs scored. ) Regular baseball 4th thru 7th innings. Ref: Pony rulebook 11G pg. 21 for 10 run rule. 3) Base running/Stealing Ref. Pony rulebook 9N#3 pg.18 4) One warning per pitcher for balks. 5) A 10 year old may play up if skill level permits safe play. 6) No metal cleats. 7) All teams must submit rosters with date of birth, and contact phone of manager to director by March 15. 8) In the event that a team does not have enough players for a game, a 10 year old may be brought up for that game providing that player is on a mustang roster, his/her skill level permits safe play, and that a proper uniform is worn. PLAYING RULES are the “Official Rules of Major League Baseball” with the exceptions and variations contained in the “Pony Baseball” rules and regulations book and by Mason Dixon League rule modifications. |
